PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Ratusan karyawan PT Cahaya Timur Garmindo yang berlokasi di Jalan Lingkar Utara Kelurahan Beji. Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Pemalang, Senin sore 10 Agustus 2020, petang ini melakukan aksi protes kepada manajemen perusahaan. Para karyawan tak mau pulang sebelum upah yang menjadi hak mereka dibayar penuh.
Menurut Supatro (24) salah satu karyawan, alasan para karyawan protes karena gaji yang dibayarkan hanya 50%, padahal target pekerjaan mereka selalu finish.
“Saya di sini sebagai karyawan, saya enggak terima kalo gajinya 50%, sedangkan target finish terus,†tuturnya kepada awak media.
Lebih lanjut, dia mengatakan, pemberian upah 50% ini sudah berlangsung selama dua bulan, bahkan Lebaran kemarin karyawan tak mendapatkan Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR).
“Udah dua bulan, lah THR kemaren enggak dapet sama sekali, alesannya masalah keuangan padahal target lancar terus, tapi kenapa kok gajinya kehambat kaya gini†kata Supatro.
Masih kata Supatro, intinya dalam aksi protes ini para karyawan menuntut agar upah mereka dibayar sepenuhnya, mereka tak mau pulang sebelum tuntutan mereka dipenuhi.
“Rencananya sih kalo transfer enggak full kita enggak pulang, tetep di sini, tapi kalo full yaa kita syukur alhamdulilah,†ungkapnya.
Hingga berita ini diunggah, mediasi antara para karyawan dengan Manajemen PT Cahaya Timur Garmindo masih berlangsung. Aparat kepolisian pun nampak turun menjaga keamanan guna mencegah adanya keributan. Dari pihak perusahaan, belum ada yang berhasil dikonfirmasi atau memrikan keterangan.

Interim Jillaroos coach Jess Skinner says she wants the coaching job full-time, with the trailblazing Indigenous mentor adamant she is ready.
Skinner will coach the Indigenous All-Stars women’s team against the Maori on Saturday night, before taking charge of a Jillaroos camp next week.
Appointed on an interim basis after predecessor Brad Donald’s sudden exit, Skinner will lead Australia against England in Las Vegas next month.
Officials will then decide whether she retains the job, after having served a long six-year apprenticeship under Donald in the elite set up.
“Absolutely (I want it),” Skinner said.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to be the interim, and what comes after it will be.
“But I would obviously love to have the role going forward. There is a process with the ARL Commission and what that looks like.
“But Brad Donald has done a fantastic job with the program, he has been a great custodian of the jersey and he has left a platform for it to keep going.”
Skinner has already moved to bring last year’s Dally M Medallist Olivia Kernick back into squad, after the Sydney Roosters star was controversially dropped last year.
Kernick forms part of Skinner’s Indigenous camp this week, with the coach leading the side for the second time and also holding Maori heritage.
And while Skinner’s priority remains the Indigenous side ahead of Saturday, the Barkindji and Ngapuhi/Ngati Hine woman believes the experience has readied her for the top job.
“I’m fully equipped and prepped and planned,” Skinner said.
“I have been (with the Jillaroos) for a bit, and there is a lot that goes into the program.
“It’s not just what you see in Pacific Champs or at a World Cup, it’s all year around.
“But this Indigenous space here is what is important to me right now and making sure we have a real strong spotlight on the All Stars week.
“I have no doubt I can do that job, there is no lack of confidence there. But right now, (it’s All Stars).”
Skinner’s comments came as Warriors NRLW coach and men’s Indigenous All Stars mentor Ronald Griffiths back her in for the full-time job.
“She’s a trailblazer,” Griffiths said.
“Someone asked me earlier on radio if I was interested in the Australian job, I said certainly, but they’ve got the right person.
“Everyone is proud of Jess, whether you are a Torres Strait Islander, Anglo-Saxon or Maori, everyone should be proud of what she has achieved.
“What she has done in the game, she elevates the women in the game, the players. She has a really great standing and I have no doubt she will have long-term success.”

Fowler posted a loved-up photo of the couple enjoying some chilled drinks beside the beach in cold conditions, beaming from ear to ear.
She also shared an image of a sign on the beach that read “love you more”.

It comes after Cleary made a mad dash from Las Vegas to California for a heartwarming rendezvous with his partner Mary Fowler as the couple’s romance keeps going from strength to strength.
Cleary also spoke out about Marty Sheargold’s shocking comments about the Matildas, which have been condemned by everyone from past and present sports stars to the prime minister and saw the comedian sacked from his job with Triple M.
‘It’s pretty sad that people are still saying that sort of stuff,’ the four-time premiership winner told News Corp. ‘It’s just unnecessary.’
Cleary also all but ruled out making a shock sporting switch that could bring him together with Fowler in England.
Last year there was speculation that the Panthers lynchpin was open to the possibility of defecting to rugby union, which would put him on the radar of big, cashed-up English clubs who could pay him a fortune while he got to live far closer to Fowler.

Asked if a code switch would ever be on the cards, Cleary responded, ‘Not really, to be honest.
‘It’s something I’ve thought about but I don’t know, I’m really happy in league and it’s always been my passion.
‘It’s always been my love and it’s been something that I’ve grown up just adoring, to be honest … I think league’s the one for me.’
Cleary and Fowler are no strangers to making mad dashes over great distances to be with each other.
Their romance first came to light when he jetted over to Perth to watch her play for Australia against the Philippines in late 2023.
Cleary and Fowler were photographed cuddling in a park just a day later, with Daily Mail Australia’s exclusive pics confirming them as Aussie sport’s power couple.
When Penrith won last year’s grand final, he wasted no time getting to England to spend time with her, with the couple taking in the Super League grand final soon after he arrived.
Fowler has also made time for her man on her visits down under, reuniting with Cleary in Sydney in December 2023, seeing him again in the harbour city last August, then going on a road trip with her man over the Christmas/new year period.

Cleary was hopeful Cole, an understudy for himself and Luai last season, would put up a fight to keep the five-eighth jersey even after Talagi recovered.
‘I think he has, he’s proven that through the pre-season, that’s why he’s starting at six,’ Cleary said.
Cleary stayed later than any other Panthers player at the club’s signing session at Las Vegas’s Resorts World, where hundreds of travelling fans assembled on Thursday morning.
