PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Sejak tahun 2019 lalu, kolom status Agama di Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) bisa ditulis ‘Kepercayaan Kepada Tuhan YME’ bagi penganut aliran kepercayaan. Meski sama seperti pembuatan KTP pada umumnya, namun penggantian status itu perlu menyerahkan berkas syarat khusus.
Itu disampaikan Sukendro, Kabid Pelayanan Pendaftaran Penduduk, Disdukcatpil Pemalang. Dituturkan Sukendro, sebelum kebijakan itu dikeluarkan, kolom agama penganut aliran kepercayaan ada yang di-isi Islam, kemudian ada pula yang dikosongkan.
“Jadi prosesnya itu dari tokoh aliran kepercayaan menyerahkan data. Kemudian di sini kita mengolah, dari KK (Kartu Keluarga) kita sesuaikan agamanya, jadikan aliran kepercayaan. Yang misalnya KTP, kita cetakkan KTP baru,†terang Sukendro, Senin 15 Februari 2021.

Dikatakan Sukendro, warga penganut aliran kepercayaan bisa mengajukan permohonan mengganti status agama pada kolom KTP menjadi ‘Kepercayaan Kepada Tuhan YME (Yang Maha Esa)’ secara personal ke Disdukcatpil.
Namun, harus ada syarat yang harus dipenuhi dan berkas yang dilampirkan pada saat pengajuan.
“(Aliran kepercayaan) itu harus ada Surat Keputusan dari Kemenkumham. Kalau dia sudah pegang itu (SK), baru bisa kita proses,†tutur Sukendro.
Kemudian, aliran kepercayaan juga harus terbukti sah dan terdaftar di Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Bakesbangpol) Pemalang.
Informasi yang dihimpun puskapik.com, aliran kepercayaan yang sudah terdaftar di Bakesbangpol Pemalang salah satunya adalah Persatuan warga Sapta Darma. Data Disdukcatpil Pemalang per- tanggal 24 Mei 2019 – 5 Februari 2021, sudah ada 184 cetak KK dan 243 cetak KTP, Persatuan warga Sapta Darma.
Selain Persatuan warga Sapta Darma, aliran kepercayaan lainnya yang terdaftar di Bakesbangpol Pemalang yaitu Paguyuban Sosial Marga Tiongha Indonesia ( PSMTI), serta Lembaga Perguruan Tri jaya.
Dikutip dari Tempo.co, Sejak keluar keputusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 97/PUU-XIV/2016, para penganut kepercayaan bisa mencantumkan aliran kepercayaan di kolom agama dalam KTP.
Pada Selasa, 7 November 2017, Mahkamah Konstitusi mengabulkan gugatan uji materi atas Pasal 61 Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2006 dan Pasal 64 Undang-Undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2013 tentang Administrasi Kependudukan yang mewajibkan mengisi kolom agama di Kartu Tanda Penduduk. Gugatan ini diajukan oleh sejumlah penghayat aliran kepercayaan.
