PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Banjir menggenangi Jalan Raya Silarang, Desa Surajaya, Kabupaten Pemalang, sore tadi, akibat adanya saluran air yang tertutup. Meski kini sudah surut, tapi banjir hampir setinggi lutut orang dewasa itu sempat menghambat lalu lintas kendaraan yang melintas.
Banjir di Jalan Raya Silarang, Desa Surajaya, Kabupaten Pemalang, itu terjadi Kamis sore, 18 Februari 2021, sekitar pukul 17.00 WIB akibat hujan deras mengguyur. Video kondisi jalan yang tergenang air hampir setinggi lutut orang dewasa itu juga viral diunggah di media sosial, salah satunya di akun Instagram @pemalang.update. Dalam video tersebut, kondisi lalu lintas tampak macet.
Hal itu dibenarkan Wasno, Kepala Desa Surajaya, Kecamatan Pemalang, Kabupaten Pemalang, saat dihubungi Puskapik.com via telepon, Kamis malam, 18 Februari 2021. “Jadi kali di hutan jati arah buangan ke Sungai Waluh ada pohon bambu roboh, nutup saluran air. Akhirnya masuk ke jalan,” kata Wasno.
Namun demikian, kata Wasno, wilayah pemukiman warga tak terdampak dan tak ada rumah warga yang terendam banjir. “Malam ini sudah kering (surut). Sekarang pun saya masih di lokasi bareng Pak Kapolsek, monitor. Tidak ada bekas lumpur, tidak ada bekas-bekas sampah di jalan, jadi air numpang lewat aja,” kata Wasno.
