PUSKAPIK.COM, Pekalongan – Libur Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1442 H dan Kenaikan Isa Almasih dimanfaatkan sebagian masyarakat untuk plesiran di beberapa destinasi wisata di Kabupaten Pekalongan.
Mengantisipasi gangguan keamanan dan membludaknya pengunjung di tempat wisata di tengah pandemi Covid-19, personel jajaran Polres Pekalongan dikerahkan untuk melaksanakan patroli menyisir objek-objek wisata.
Kasubbag Humas Polres Pekalongan AKP Akrom menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya melakukan langkah tersebut untuk mencegah kerawanan dan memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada pengunjung atau masyarakat. “Ini langkah preemtif dan preventif,” kata AKP Akrom, Minggu, 16 Mei 2021.
Dijelaskan Kasubbag Humas, selain melaksanakan patroli, pihaknya juga menggelar operasi yustisi menegakan disiplin protokol kesehatan kepada masyarakat sebagai upaya untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid-19, khususnya di wilayah hukum Polres Pekalongan.
“Adapun langkah yang dilaksanakan oleh personel yaitu memberikan edukasi atau sosialisasi secara humanis kepada masyarakat atau pengunjung akan pentingnya mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang telah dianjurkan oleh pemerintah serta membagikan masker kepada pengunjung atau masyarakat yang kedapatan tidak menggunakan masker,” katanya.
Lebih lanjut, Akrom mengungkapkan bahwa masyarakat yang mengunjungi objek wisata di Kabupaten Pekalongan cukup ramai meski tidak sepadat tahun-tahun sebelumnya.
“Mudah-mudahan wabah Corona segera hilang agar masyarakat bisa beraktivitas seperti biasa,” katanya.
