PUSKAPIK.COM, Slawi – Pemerintah Kabupaten Tegal melalui dinas kesehatan setempat terus melakukan percepatan vaksinasi Covid-19 di seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Tak hanya masyarakat biasa, percepatan vaksinasi juga menyasar ibu hamil. Pasalnya, ibu hamil termasuk dalam kategori kelompok rentan terinfeksi Covid-19.
Berdasarkan data dinas kesehatan, dari target sasaran 5.122 ibu hamil di Kabupaten Tegal, sebanyak 2.783 di antaranya telah mendapat suntikan vaksin Covid-19 sampai dengan Rabu, 1 September 2021 kemarin.
“Data per Rabu kemarin, total sudah ada 2.783 ibu hamil yang tervaksin atau sekitar 54 persen dari target yang kita tetapkan, yaitu 5.122 ibu hamil,†ujar juru Bicara Penanganan Covid-19 Kabupaten Tegal Sarmanah Adi Muraeny, Kamis siang, 2 September 2021.
Adapun kriteria ibu hamil yang dapat divaksin, kata Sarmanah, adalah ibu dengan usia kehamilan mulai 13 minggu atau trimester kedua hingga ketiga.
“Kemudian syarat lainnya sama seperti vaksinasi pada umumnya. Sebelum divaksin ibu hamil akan dilakukan pengecekan terlebih dahulu,†jelasnya.
Sarmanah berharap target vaksinasi pada ibu hamil ini dapat segera terealisasi. Karena vaksinasi ibu hamil dapat melindungi ibu dan calon bayi dari paparan Covid-19.
Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebelumnya juga mengharapkan dinas kesehatan di masing-masing daerah dapat mempercepat vaksinasi pada ibu hamil. Ini dikarenakan kasus kematian ibu hamil di Jateng akibat Covid-19 relatif tinggi.
