PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Dua puluh peserta calon Duta Wisata Kabupaten Pemalang mengikuti seleksi unjuk bakat, Minggu 3 September 2023. Seleksi ini menjadi tahapan terakhir sebelum calon Mas dan Mbak Duta Wisata itu melaju ke final.
Seleksi unjuk bakat ini berlangsung di Resto Watu Sangan, Desa Kecepit, Kecamatan Randudongkal, Kabupaten Pemalang. Masing-masing peserta menampilkan bakat yang mereka miliki di hadapan para dewan juri.
“Ya, hari ini ada 20 peserta finalis yaitu 10 putra dan 10 putri. Mereka sudah mengikuti sesi pemotretan, tes pengetahuan dan praktik make up, kemudian unjuk bakat yang dimiliki.” jelas Mualip, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata, Pemuda dan Olahraga Pemalang.
Para finalis tersebut sebelumnya sudah melalui tahapan seleksi tertulis dan wawancara. Diketahui, sejak awal pendaftaran total ada sebanyak 107 peserta yang bersaing untuk menjadi Mas dan Mbak Duta Wisata Kabupaten Pemalang ini.
“Untuk dewan juri kita hadirkan dari kaum profesional, baik ahli pariwisata, ahli rias (HARPI), ahli psikologi, mantan duta wisata, dan juga akademisi.” terang Mualip.
Grand final atau malam penganugerahan Mas dan Mbak Duta Wisata Kabupaten Pemalang itu, tutur Mualip, rencananya digelar pada Sabtu malam 16 September 2023 nanti di Pendopo Kantor Bupati Pemalang.
“Kita akan hadirkan juri kehormatan yakni Pak Plt Bupati, Mansur Hidayat dan Ketua TP PKK Kabupaten Pemalang, Ibu Shanti Rosalia.” imbuhnya.
Diharapkan seleksi Duta Wisata Kabupaten Pemalang ini bakal melahirkan pasangan Mas dan Mbak yang mampu menjadi promotor andal sektor pariwisata Kota Ikhlas.
“Jelas, mereka harus memiliki kemampuan yang komprehensif untuk menjadi duta wisata yang bisa memperkenalkan potensi wisata Pemalang, baik yang dikelola oleh pemerintah daerah maupun oleh masyarakat melalui desa wisata” pungkas Mualip.
