PUSKAPIK.COM, Pekalongan – Beragam cara dilakukan masyarakat dalam memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Kemerdekaan ke-75 RI. Mereka menunjukkan rasa cinta terhadap Tanah Air dan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI).
Seperti yang dilakukan sekelompok pemuda-pemudi yang tergabung dalam Federasi Panjat Tebing Indonesia (FPTI) Kabupaten Pekalongan. Mereka memperingati Hari Kemerdekaan dengan membentangkan bendera Merah Putih di Jembatan Lolong, Sabtu, 15 Agustus 2020. Bendera memiliki ukuran sepanjang 15 meter dan lebar 10 meter.
“Walau masih di masa pandemi Covid-19, tapi semangat para pemuda-pemudi dalam memperingati HUT RI yang ke-75 sangat besar. Kami membuat acara dengan merentangkan bendera Merah Putih di Jembatan Lolong, bekas peninggalan Belanda dengan biaya swadaya para anggota FPTI,” kata pembina FPTI Kabupaten Pekalongan, Wahyu kuncoro, Sabtu, 15 Agustus 2020.
Kepala Kesbangpol Kabupaten Pekalongan, Haryanto Nugroho mengapresiasi kegiatan para pemuda tersebut. “Ini sangat bagus dan menjadi salah satu upaya tetap semangat di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Anak muda yang tergabung dalam FPTI mengadakan acara pengibaran bendera di jembatan lokasi wisata Lolong ini,” katanya.
