PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Plt Bupati Pemalang, Mansur Hidayat, menegaskan pemerintah tak lepas tangan terhadap musibah kebakaran di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Pesalakan Desa Pegongsoran yang kini berstatus darurat.
“Kita pemerintah tidak meninggalkan, kita hadir disini, kita sama-sama selesaikan permasalahan sampah ini.” kata Mansur saat menengok area kebakaran di TPA Pesalakan, Jumat 8 September 2023.
Upaya pemadaman terus dilakukan pemerintah dengan mengerahkan petugas pemadam kebakaran (Damkar), Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD), Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI), dan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup.
“Kita juga dibantu TNI-Polri. Jadi kita tidak tinggal diam, semua stake holder kita kerahkan bersama-sama masyarakat. Kita harus bareng-bareng menyelesaikan sampah.” terangnya.
Perihal keamanan warga, kata Mansur, pemerintah sudah menyediakan posko-posko pengungsian apabila sewaktu-waktu api kembali berkobar. Selain itu, juga mendirikan dapur umum untuk membantu pangan warga yang terdampak.
“Posko kesehatan sudah dari bulan-bulan lalu kami adakan disini, sejak seminggu lalu kita optimalkan.” jelasnya.
Saat peninjauan itu, Plt Bupati juga meminta seluruh petugas baik Damkar maupun BPBD terus bersiaga di lokasi kebakaran TPA sembari melakukan pendinginan pada titik-titik yang diwaspadai memicu munculnya api.
“Jangan ditinggal. Jadi sewaktu waktu urgent (muncul api) bisa langsung tindak, air juga harus selalu tersedia. Air dikasih detergen agar cepat padam.” imbuhnya.
Meski sudah dianggap darurat, namun menurut Mansur, pemerintah dirasa belum perlu mengambil langkah mengungsikan warga ataupun meliburkan sekolah di sekitar TPA Pesalakan.
“Kita sudah siapkan tenda barangkali ada warga yang mau mengungsi. Kalau sekolah saya kira belum perlu diliburkan, karena kalau pagi asapnya tidak terlalu banyak.” tuturnya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Plt Bupati Mansur Hidayat sempat menengok dapur umum yang dibangun di Dusun Pesalakan. Ia menyalurkan paket sembako dari Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas) untuk membantu pangan warga.
